This fully supported teahouse trek is a wonderful introduction to the mountains of Nepal and perfect for trekkers of all abilities. It is the closest trek to Kathmandu and is also known as the Yolmo Heritage trek, as it provides an up close and personal window into the unique Yolmo culture of the region. You will trek through some beautiful rhododendron, pine and oak forests overnighting in teahouses in villages along the way. The ranges of mountains that will rise above you along the trek match the diversity of the people you will meet along the way. Along the trek, weather permitting, there are excellent views of the Himalayas that include Gauri Shanker, Ganesh Himal and the Langtang Range. This trek takes you into two of Nepal’s National Parks – Shivapuri and Langtang National Parks.
